Chrno Crusade

Nathan was surprised at the sudden turn of anger. He just looked away feeling a little disappointed in her and himself.

Casoma started to walk off, trying not to fall because of crying so much. She tripped and fell in a rose bush, she was able to turn, Her bangs covered her eyes as she stopped crying.

Nathan ran over to her and helped her up.

Nathan- You alright? You fell on a rose bush....are you hurt?

Casoma looked down, she couldn't look at him. Her hands, arms, back and legs were bleeding.

Nathan- Geez....cmon...

He picked her up and began walking her to their apartment. He had some bandages over there, plus she had to get some rest after what she went through today.

Cas still looked down, she didn't car about all the bleeding she had.

When they reached the apartment, she was dripping blood a little. He put her on his bed so she wouldn't get any blood on hers. He left to get the bandages and came back and began to bandage her up.

Cas looked up with blank eyes, "Thank..you.." she said as a tear formed in her eyes.

Nathan- Don't worry about it, its my duty to protect you. Just doing my job.

Casoma smiled,it was weak, Cas leaned forward and hugged him tight. She closed her eyes.then the tears ran down her face.

Nathan didn't hug her back. He still felt he failed her and didn't deserve her. He just broke away from her grasp and finished patching her up.

Nathan- How's that?

Cas gave asmall, weak, fading smile "Its fine."she said as a ear rolled down her face. He must hate me. she thought crying again.

Nathan- You should rest up Casoma. Sleep well alright?

"Im..Not..tired.."she said as her bangs covered her eyes again.

Nathan- Well, do whatever you want. Just be sure you don't do anything to over stress yourself.

He walked over to a chair on the opposite side of the room and sat down. He placed a leg over his other one and leaned back as he looked out the window.

Cas stayed were she was and still looked down,her bangs over her face"Do you hate me?" she whispered talking to Nathan.

Nathan didn't say anything. He just looked at her and told her she shouldn't worry about things like that and should just get some sleep.

Cas grabbed the bedding with her hands "Iwant to know...you ignored me.." she said as her head dropped then tears came out and hit her legs.

Nathan sighed.

Nathan- No, I don't hate you Casoma.

He said rather blunt. He looked out the window again trying his best to ignore her tears.

"Then why are you trying so hard to ignore me?"she said closing her eyes tightly.

Nathan- Because. It occurred to me I can't have personal feelings cloud my judgement as your Devil.

"Likei can, i can't even believe that my brother is alive without you ignoring me.." she said before she started to cry and didn't stop she sniffled here and there.

Nathan- Gah...you're making this so hard for me to try and ignore you....But I can't stand to see you cry.

He walked over to her and sat next to her and hugged her.

Nathan- I'm sorry....

Casoma cryed even more "Why were you trying to ignore me?"

Nathan- If we were ever to split up....I tried to make it less hard for us...I don't want to see you cry like when what happened to your brother.
