Zeta shrugged. "I dunno if anything's okay anymore."

Annathia's eyes snapped open as the bell cut through her nightmare. She sat up, pulling her knees to her chest and wrapping her arms around her legs. It was a dream... Just a dream... A shiver ran down her spine as she realized that was the breakfast bell. Still dressed in her ratty jeans and black tank-top from the day before, she made her way to the dining hall, careful not to get trampled. Something seemed amiss in the school, but she paid no heed, her mind only focused on the food that was to be served. She sat in the back of the room once again, grateful to get to sit at a mostly empty table.

Annathia looked over to see the head Nathan sitting next to her, resting his head in his arms. She thought about saying something but ultimately decided against it, returning her attention to the food that would (hopefully) soon be brought. the feeling of something amiss lingered in her mind, but she pushed it to the very far corners of her mind, thinking only about food, for the time being. She let out a small, impatient sigh, wishing she had taken her book with her.

Darian soon arrived with a broken arm in a cast. Ken walked behind him triumphant and Darian sat down next to his sister. Ken sat down on the other side of her. Darian got the mic and announced for the food. When it was brought, Nathan looked up and looked at it, then looked back down and put his head back in his arms. He wasn't going to eat.

Maylu got her food and started eatting

When a different person came in and announced the food, Annathia could tell what was missing. The Headmaster. She turned to Nathan, who didn't seem to be interested in the food at all. "Did something happen with the Headmaster last night?" her voice was barely above a whisper, almost afraid of making Nathan mad. He wasn't very nice when he was mad...

Nathan mumbled some words under his breath.

Nathan- Say goodbye to your friends of this school. She's shutting it down sometime next week.

Annathia felt a knot form in her stomach as he spoke. "What? No! She can't do that! Why? What did you do!?" She demanded, her voice rising a bit from her mixed emotions. There was the fear that she would have to return to thieving, the anger that she would do this to them, and the worry of what would happen to others like her, with no where to go. This was her home, the only thing keeping her out of prison! She felt a tear well up in her eye and quickly wiped it away, not wanting anyone to see her cry.

she looked up at the frount table where the brothers sat then back at him and anna "w..we gotta do something!"

"Well you were about to attack her!" Annathia felt a tear escape her eye, brushing it away angrily. "How could she? Why would she? Doesn't she know that this is the only home some of us have? Doesn't she know that this is the only place some of us can go, other than prison? It's practically murderous for some of us to leave here!" She began shaking, her lower lip trembling uncontrollably. She'd gone to prison once, and she never wanted to do it again. "She feels like she's not doing enough!? She's keeping some of us safe! Teaching us to control our powers!" She looked to the girl who was crying. "What can we do. Find another Headmaster? Where we gonna get one of those? The Headmaster store?" She was now mostly angry, although her lower lip still trembled and her eyes still watered.

Nathan- You know what? Forget it, I don't even care anymore. If she closes the school down, its nothing to do with me. Not like I got nowhere else to go.

Darian was wondering where his sister was. He and Ken exchanged worried looks and set off to find her.

"My dreams..." Zeta answered. "And the head master."

Zeta got herself a plate and sat next to her. "Well, Arron is thinking of closing the school..." She said. "And I'm also having dreams of clan wars."

Annathia felt her anger build up inside her, biting down on her lip to keep from sobbing. How could someone care so little about... Everything? "Do you have no heart? Do you have no ears? this could mean the end for some of us. For some of us it means going out to live back on the streets where we will eventually be imprisoned or killed. You're... You're a jerk and I wish you did have nowhere to go." She snarled at him, moving a seat away from him.

Nathan was silent...He couldn't think of anything to say. He sat down in his chair again and burried his face into his arms. He sighed heavily.
