Ken- Oh! So, how was the match? Sorry I missed it...

she showed him her arm sling where she misplaced her sholder and wrist

Ken- ouch...I'm sorry May...It should heal up though, with the right healing magic. I'm sure of it.

"i cant use healing magic on my self yet..."

Ken- I'm sure the nurses here could do something about it.

"Oh god, don't cry again..." Annathia took a small step towards Nathan, reaching out and placing a hand on his arm gently. "I-... I'm sorry..."

Nathan hugged her.

Nathan- Don't be, its my fault.

"But I... I was going to fight, instead of forfeiting in the first place... All for that stupid moonstone... And I was going to... I almost..." Annathia trailed off, trying to think of how to word "I almost slit your throat then left your body for the buzzards" so it wouldn't sound like she was completely heartless and mean...

Nathan- Its not your fault, you were angry, I understand. But listen to me, I'm going to try my best to win you that moonstone. I promise to try my best and try to win this tournament, all for you.

Annathia looked up at Nathan. "It's your moonstone to win..." She said softly.

Zeta lightly shook John. "John...?"

Annathia gave Nathan a weak smile. "Do you know how confusing you are?" She asked with a small laugh.

Nathan smiled back at her, happy that she broke in a smile.

Nathan- I like to leave people guessing.

"Apparently." Annathia smirked, her grin widening as she did. But there was still some pain behind that grin. She tried to hide it, pushing the feelings of anger and sadness to the very back of her mind. Annathia had lied a lot as a child, to avoid getting in trouble, and had become a pretty good actress since then... And those times of lying paid off a bit at times like these.
